Rapper, songwriter, record producer Kenyatta Lee Frazier known professionally as Ken Carson formerly stylized as “Ken Car$on” is a well-known rapper from Atlanta, Georgia, United States who specializes in hip hop, trap and rage rap. He is also known as Teen X and X Man.
In an interview with Our Generation Music, Ken Carson explained on how he adopted his stage name, stating that: “Ken Carson came from the name, Ken, the Barbie doll. Ken Carson, Barbie boyfriend, He just got a hard lifestyle, I just wanna live like him, He living life, I’ma live better than him”.
He was formerly signed to 808 Mafia, an American record production based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. In 2015, Ken met his uncle and record producer TM88 which gained him a contract at 808 Mafia. He then began releasing music to SoundCloud as early as 2016.
In 2019, he was signed to Opium after gaining attention and popularity in the underground rap scene. He caught the attention of American rapper, Playboi Carti who is the owner of Opium records. He is also signed to Interscope Records.
After signing to Opium, he released two EPs in 2020, Boy Barbie and Teen X. He later released a sequel EP called Teen X: Relapsed in 2021 before releasing Project X, his debut studio album later that year.

In 2020, Ken Carson released two Extended Play (EPs): Boy Barbie and Teen X under Opium records.
On January 2, 2021, he went on and released a sequel of his 2020 EP, Teen X which he renamed as Teen X: Relapsed, a deluxe version of Teen X. On July 23, 2021, he released his debut studio album “Project X” which was executive produced by Outtatown and Starboy. The album’s cover was inspired by a 2012 movie of the same name. The Album was originally intended to be an EP. The Album composed of 11 tracks.
In February 2022, he appeared as a guest on Yeat’s track “Geek High” off of his album, 2 Alive, an appearance that amplified his popularity. In that same year, he released his second studio album “X” on July 8, 2022 which peaked Number 115 on the Billboard 200 and also Number 50 on US Top R&B/ and Hip-Hop Albums, his greatest feat as a rapper and producer. The album featured guest appearances from Opium labelmates Destroy Lonely and Homixide Gang. It comprised of 20 tracks, 20 original track listing and an “XTENDED (Deluxe edition) track listing which comprised of 5 tracks, making it 25 tracks in total.
In October, 2022, he and fellow Atlanta rapper “SoFayGo” collaborated on a track titled “Hell Yeah” for SoFayGo’s debut studio album “Pink Heartz” which they later shot a video for. He released an “XTENDED” deluxe version of his second studio album “X” on October 31, 2022 which comprised of 5 additional track listing. He also released a music video for his “MDMA” featuring Destroy Lonely.
On January 13, 2023, He released the video for his song “Freestyle 2” on YouTube which has accumulated 2.6 million views. On February 14, he released his single “I need U”.
On May 5, 2023, He was featured on his labelmate, Destroy Lonely’s single “Money & Sex” off of his debut studio album “If Looks Could Kill”.
In 2022, he headlined his X Man Tour which he got to perform in certain European cities including London where he had a sold-out show.
He maintains a very healthy social media presence with an Instagram account which has over a million followers.
